I hate unemployment!

When you live in a coastal tourist town being unemployed in the off season sucks!  Well, for Tim being an unemployed firefighter sucks no matter what time of year. 
  So we are at a crossroads.  Do we try to make it on unemployment until something breaks and we get hired or do we pack up and move.  Its so hard to figure out what to do.  The kids love it here. They have a great school, Ash is in a great soccer program, Cailin is cheering at the best gym. 
  You would think with Tim's experience departments would be fighting over him.  You'd think with my years of hospital experience as a CNA that I would find a job as it isn't the most glamorous job in the world.
  Its hard not to get discouraged.  Feel like we are treading water in the middle of the gulf of mexico.
